On Thursday 22nd September Mr Spencer attended the GSA President’s Dinner at the famous educational establishment that is the Honourable Society of Gray’s Inn. As a guest of Dr Helen Wright; Headmistress of St Mary’s Calne and President of the Girls’ Schools Association, he was joined by a handful of Prep School Heads and the Heads of the leading Secondary Girls’ schools in the country.

The guest speaker for the evening was Professor Anthony Grayling who discussed his ideas for the development of education in the 21st Century.

The Girls' Schools Association (GSA) is the professional association representing the Heads of leading independent girls' schools in the UK. Their mission is to inform and influence national educational debate, to raise awareness of the benefits of single-sex secondary school education for girls, to promote high standards of education for girls and to support members through the provision of a broad range of services.

This is a cause that Daneshill School will continue to support as we make every effort to promote the best learning environments for our pupils and strive to educate the leaders and opinion-shapers of the future.
