ICT
To be able to participate effectively in this digital world, children need to develop a skill called ‘computational thinking’. In our computer suite, the children are equipped with the foundational skills, knowledge and understanding of computing they will need for the rest of their lives. They learn how computers and computer systems work; they design and build programmes, develop their ideas using technology, and create a range of content.
Interactive whiteboards throughout the school, along with related equipment and iPads ensure that ICT can be effectively used as a learning tool throughout the curriculum. We aspire for our children to confidently and independently use and apply information technology skills to support and extend their learning. We hope to develop a culture where the use of ICT becomes second nature to our pupils, thus ensuring they are ready and able to embrace the technological advances in their future lives.
