ALS: Horseshoe Lake

One afternoon a week, our senior pupils embark upon their ALS programme of activities. These aim to stretch the children to their limits and broaden their horizons. The adventure strand exposes the children to a less conventional world of sport. We aim to offer a dynamic leadership and personal development programme, designed to challenge pupils outside of the classroom through controlled exposure to risk and learning for life.

Year 8 had their first ALS outing to Horseshoe Lake this week following some easing of restrictions. It was fantastic to witness an afternoon of fun, friendship and team building as they worked on core strength and balance on the paddle boards and kayaks.
