Daneshill’s Big Me Day
‘Big Me’ day was such a huge success and embraced by everyone at Daneshill.
The pupils (and teachers) got to dress up as what they want to be when they grow up and parents dedicated time out of their busy day to talk to the pupils about their job, what it involves and how they got into the profession. We had talks from a physiotherapist, a fighter pilot, a general practitioner, a motivational speaker, a zoo keeper, the list goes on….
The pupils also learned about those less fortunate than ourselves and heard about children in other countries who don’t get to go to school everyday. ActionAid works with women and girls living in poverty and Daneshill has nearly raised £1,000 for the charity so far. If you haven’t had a chance, there is still time to donate, just click here.
Thank you to everyone for making the day such a huge success.
