Heartbeats – Year 6 Poetry and Song

Love was in the air as Year 6 pupils treated their parents to an evening of poetry and song, to celebrate St Valentine’s Day.

The performances featured a range of poems, both humorous and earnest, which the pupils had learnt by heart and performed with confidence and dramatic expression.

They certainly spread love through the Drama studio as they sang a medley of popular songs in a wide variety of styles.

The pupils had worked hard to stage the entertainment and I’m sure their audience went home feeling their cockles warmed and their hearts full of pride.
